MEMORANDUM OF ASSOCIATION
On 16th April 2012, at the University of Padua in 6 Riviera Tito Livio – Padua (Italy) WE the several persons, whose names and addresses are listed below:

Agree and undersign what follows:
1. Those present establish a scientific-cultural Association for promoting the development of Knowledge Management as a scientific Discipline. The Association shall be named “International Association for Knowledge Management” (hereinafter “The Association”). The office of the Association shall be at the Department of Management and Engineering (Dipartimento di Tecnica e Gestione dei Sistemi Industriali) of the University of Padua, Stradella San Nicola, 3, Vicenza - Italy
2. The Association shall be open and no-profit, and shall have unlimited duration.
3. The Associations shall be registered in Italy under the Italian laws. The Association shall be regulated by the Statute, written in English and Italian, attached to this Memorandum.
4. The first Executive Board shall be composed by the following officers:
1) Ettore Bolisani - President
2) Enrico Scarso - Secretary
3) Remko Willem Helms - Member
4) Meliha Handzic - Member
5) José Maria Viedma Marti - Member
5. The above indicated Officers shall remain in charge until the next elections in accordance with the Statute.
7. Any expenses related to this document shall be charged to the Association.
