From 2015, our Assembly has decided the application of an annual fee of 10 € for supporting the expenses and activities of the Association. All the members should pay this fee either directly to the President or Secretary or via Paypal. More details can be found here.

Membership types and requirements
Full members shall have all the privileges of membership, including participation in the IAKM General Assembly, shall be voting members and eligible for holding any office in the IAKM.
Associate members shall have all the privileges of membership, including participation in the IAKM General Assembly, but shall not be a voting member and are ineligible to hold any offices in the IAKM
1. Guiding principles / criteria for an academic to be admitted into IAKM
Full member - Requirements
A minimum of 5 significant research contributions in the field of KM during the last 5 years (the Board will assess the relevance of the contributions)
A minimum H-index of 15 on Google Scholar
A PhD degree
Associate Member- Requirements
Doctoral students in the KM field and academics should demonstrate a keen interest in the KM field via publications and other dedicated activities (attendance to specialized conferences, workshops, thematic events, involvement in research projects, etc.). A minimum of 3 publications in journals or in Proceedings of conferences in KM.
2. Guiding principles / criteria for a KM practitioner to be admitted into IAKM
Full member - Requirements
5 years or more working experience as a KM professional
Describe the challenges, solutions and lessons learnt from 2 KM projects completed (100 words each)
Attended at least 1 international KM event per year
Delivered at least 3 external talks on KM in past 5 years
Associate Member- Requirements
2 years working experience as a KM professional
Describe the challenges faced in one KM project and what you have learnt so far (100 words)
Attended at least 1 international KM event in the last 2 years
Please note that regular membership implies the payment of an annual 10 € fee.
