Biography
Eduardo made is PhD in Economics (2001), with a Thesis on the European Social Fund presented at the Technical University in Lisbon. Since then he has worked in several Portuguese private universities, in particularly Lusíada University where stayed from 2006 to 2013. He published 24 papers in peer-reviewed Journals and presented 48 papers in international conferences. He has also authored three book chapters. Additionally, since 2009, he has organized four well-attended international conferences for his university on themes such as knowledge management, human resource development, and intellectual capital at Lusiada University, in Famalicão: MSKE 2009, ECKM 2010, MSKE 2011 and UFHRD Europe 2012 From those conferences he edited two Special Issues in EJTD and EJKM and is editing one more in IJKBD. His main scientific interest is Intangible analysis, linked with Human Resource Development, Knowledge Management, Intellectual Capital and Social Policy. He is member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the following Journals: Journal of European Industrial Training¸ Business Excellence; Electronic Journal of Knowledge Management; International Journal of Knowledge-Based Organizations, Journal of Management Dynamics in the Knowledge Economy.
