Biography
Frada Burstein is currently a professor in the Faculty of Information Technology, Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. Professor Burstein initiated and continues to lead Knowledge Management Research Group. She has been a chief investigator for a number of research projects supported by grants and scholarships from the Australian Research Council and industry. Professor Burstein’s current research interests include knowledge management technologies, intelligent decision support, health informatics. She is Co-Editor in Chief of the Emerald Journal of information and knowledge management systems. (VINE) and Decision Systems Journal of Tailor and Francis. She is also an area Editor for decision support Systems Journal. Professor Burstein is a Fellow of Australian Computer Society. She is a Vice Chair of IFIP WG8.3, Decision Support Systems and a past Chair of SIG DSS and KM of the Association of Information Systems.
