Biography
Andrea Kő is an Associate Professor at Corvinus University of Budapest, Department of Information Systems, Budapest. She has MSc in Mathematics and Physics from Eötvös Lóránd University of Budapest, Hungary (1988), a University Doctoral degree in Computer Science (1992) from Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary and a PhD degree in Management and Business Administration (2005) from Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary. Kő is a successful instructor from 1990, she had active role in the academic programme development of MSc in Business Information Systems (2007), CUB and BSc in Business Information Systems (2005), CUB. She participated in several international and national research projects in the areas of: knowledge management; semantic technologies and e-government (recently she is a researcher in Ubipol (Ubiquitous Participation Platform for Policy Making; FP7- ICT-2009.7.3, ICT for Governance and Policy Modelling; 2009-2012) project). Kő’s main teaching and research interests lie in the areas of knowledge management, semantic technologies, business intelligence and IT audit with a particular focus on the innovative ICT solutions in knowledge management. She has published widely on these topics in books, journals and conference proceedings. Presently, Kő is an active member of several professional societies and groups including Hungarian Knowledge Management Association, IAKM and ISACA.
